  • The members elect a board of directors, which makes the day-to-day decisions. This way decisions may be made efficiently and in the best interest of the group.
  • The co-op may contract for certain tasks (bill paying, snow plowing, landscaping, and other various community maintenance tasks).
  • Employees work under the direction of the board.
